What is Sheboygan Haunted Asylum?

We are Wisconsin’s only real asylum haunted house attraction with scare actors in the former Sheboygan County Hospital for the insane located in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. We also have behind the scenes vip tours.

Is this a real asylum building? 

Absolutely we are inside of the old Sheboygan County Hospital for the insane that was built in 1939 and closed in 2002.  You can’t beat this authentic haunted location!

How do I get there?

Our address: N3773 Garden Pkwy, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085 (MAP)

• Turn on Country Road VN for entrance gate you will see “Sheboygan Asylum” arch sign that is the only entrance

• DO NOT ENTER Garden Parkway or any other gate 

Is there an age range ? 

All ages welcomed; Haunted Attractions are recommended for ages 13+ but it is up to discretion of guest

Is it scary? 

Yes!

Can I touch the actors?

No, if you hit an actor, you will go to jail.

Do the actors touch you?

No, but if you’re looking for more of a crazy experience, we have something for you..

What if I want more of a crazy experience?

You can become part of the show with our patient pass ticket where the actors can grab you this is add on you can find prices on ticketing page or purchase on-site. Don’t miss out on this added experience!

Do you accept cash?

Yes!

Do you accept all major credit/ debit cards?

Yes and we also offer contactless payments

Can I buy tickets online or in person ?

Tickets are available online and in person during operation nights.

What happens if I buy a ticket online? 

When you arrive have your QR code ready and head to our box office to redeem to get your attraction ticket to enter the haunted house. All tickets must be redeemed at box office.

What happens if it rains?

We have indoor q line and most of our haunted house is indoors. We do have outdoor sections but weather dependent you have the choice to stay under cover or enter the chaos. So we are open rain or shine!

Trick or Treat at the Asylum

When is Trick-or-Treat at the Asylum?

Trick-or-Treat at the Asylum takes place on Sunday, October 25, from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

Is this event free?

Yes! Trick-or-Treat at the Asylum is completely FREE for guests of all ages.

Who can attend?

Everyone is welcome! This is a family-friendly event designed for children, parents, grandparents, and anyone looking to enjoy a fun Halloween afternoon together.

Can my child wear a costume?

Absolutely! Costumes are encouraged for both kids and adults. We can’t wait to see everyone’s Halloween creativity!

Will there be candy?

Yes! We’ll have multiple candy stations set up throughout the asylum grounds for children to enjoy while supplies last.

Will the haunted house be open during Trick-or-Treat?

No. The haunted attraction will not be operating during the Trick-or-Treat event to ensure a fun, family-friendly atmosphere for all guests. The haunted attraction will open later that evening at 6:30 PM for our regular nighttime haunted house experience. Separate admission is required for the haunted attraction.

Do I need a ticket?

No ticket is required for the Trick-or-Treat event. Just show up, enjoy the festivities, collect candy, and make some Halloween memories with us!
